Studio Policies (Please read before attending)

Class Policy:

-Chicago Aerial Arts staff has the right to refuse services to any student whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe or can not follow our policies.
-In respect to our other students we ask that you please leave children and guests at home.
-If only ONE student is in class, class will be shortened from 1 hour to 45 minutes
-Parents may wait in their cars or the kitchen during kids classes. Watching class in the lobby is prohibited out of respect for our under age students & instructor.
-All students will be placed in the level class their instructor deems appropriate for their skill level, to move between levels you must have permission. If you are unsure of what level you should be in, please schedule a trial or private lesson with us. (please review our pre-requisites page)
-Aerial arts is demanding on your body, if you are questioning whether aerial arts is the right work out for you please check in with your doctor before attending.

Proper Attire:

-Fake or long nails are not advised as this can effect your grip.
-No clothing with zippers or hooks.
-Please remove all jewelry prior to class.
-We recommend covering armpits, belly & backs of knees to have a comfortable class.

Tardiness:

-Any student that arrives later then 10 minutes to class will be given the option to watch the class but will not be allowed to partake. A proper warm up is imperative to our students safety and injury prevention.

Make-Up Policy: -

-Students must email [email protected] 4 hours prior to their scheduled class.
-No shows or failure to email will not be granted a make up opportunity.
-Pre-registration is required for all make ups.
-Members can view all absences through their Mindbody account.
- Kids and Teens makeups are only allowed to be fulfilled in the other kids and teens classes. 
-Make ups are only allowed to be fulfilled in a class at your skill  level or below, open gyms or flexibility class. You may not enroll in a different apparatus- ask us about your $35 first time drop ins.
-Make-ups will be added to your account and may be used at any time as long as the student is a paid active member.
-Students will be notified through Mindbody if they have been added to their make up class
-Make ups are not eligible to be rescheduled and will be forfeited upon cancellation or no-show.

Open Gym Policy:

-Open gym is a time for students to review things they have learned in class with an aerial instructor present.
-There is no teacher instruction & students are prohibited to teach each other at this time. Attempting moves that you have not been taught in person by an aerial instructor is prohibited.
-All attendees must have experience on their apparatus to participate.
-There are no refunds in the event of cancellation/no show.
*If you are not a current member of Chicago Aerial Arts you must be pre-approved for open gym by emailing us ([email protected]) a video of you moving on your apparatus of choice.

Auto-enroll and auto-bill:

All aerial tricks & flow classes are membership only. All memberships are ongoing and will auto-enroll & auto-bill students into their classes every month. 

Membership Pause Policy:

-Current members may pause their contracts for up to 3 months. Start and end dates of the Student's pause will be dependent on their current billing cycle.
-There will be a $10 maintenance fee for all paused months.
-Members who pause their account will no longer have their spot held in class & will need to review with the office what class openings are available upon returning.
-The student is not eligible to use make ups during their pause.
-Any paused months will be added onto the end of the membership.
*If a member chooses to cancel their membership during a pause their memberships cancellation policy/terms still apply. (read below)

Membership Cancellation Policy:

-All cancellations must be made 1 month prior to your next billing date (if your billing date is on the 30th,  your cancellation must be made no later then the 30th of the prior month)
-Step one: All cancellations must be made in writing and sent to [email protected]
-Step two: All members must fill out our cancellation form: https://forms.gle/noSQa2ChFAvAfgKr7
-Step one and step two must be made of finalize your cancellation. 
*All payments are final sale. Chicago Aerial Arts does not issue refunds.
*If a member chooses to cancel their membership during a pause their memberships cancellation policy/terms still apply.

Class/Open Gym Cancellation Policy:

-Classes and Open Gyms require a minimum of 3-4 people to run.
-In the event a class or open gym is is cancelled by Chicago Aerial Arts due to low enrollment, we will reschedule or refund you at our discretion.

Refunds & Cancellations

-All payments with Chicago Aerial Arts are non-refundable or transferable.
-Most purchases expire 12 months to the original purchased date unless otherwise posted.
-For all Trial classes there is a limit of 1 reschedule per purchase. After that you must re- sign up and pay for the class.
